Kinohimitsu Meet and Greet Tavia Yeung at 1Utama (楊怡 Kinohimitsu宣傳) - 30 June (1 Utama Shopping Mall)

Collagen in liquid form is fast becoming women’s answer to the elixir to youth. Jumping into the foray of HK collagen celebrity ambassadors (after Joey for “NH Cola” and Sammi Cheng for “H20”) is none other than top TVB starlet, Tavia Yeung. Having attended the meet and greet-cum-product launch event at 1U mall, I’ve to agree that it was worth every penny to appoint Tavia as the spokes person for Kinohimitsu. From detox, stem cell, collagen to a host of beauty/health supplements, Tavia knows Kinohimitsu’s products inside out. The strength of Tavia’s popularity in Msia is pretty evident as a huge number of shoppers were lurking around the concourse with Kinohimitsu’s shopping bags. From my observation, NH Cola used to monopolizes a huge chunk of the local collagen market share but now, is facing stiff competition from Kinohimitsu due to its extremely aggressive promotion strategies and thanks to Tavia’s endorsement. Tavia is currently pre-occupied with the shooting of “Justice Attack” (法網狙擊)(co-starring Michael Tse) and is expected to wrap-up the drama in July. Thereafter, Tavia shall start work on “A Great Way To Care II” (仁心解碼)in August. I asked Tavia regarding the sequal to “The Hippocratic Crush” (On Call 36小時). She revealed that the production is slated for next year. Oh, well…meanwhile, we can look forward to Tavia’s “Three Kingdoms RPG” (回到三國)( I bet Fung Yee fans are rejoicing at the very thought of seeing them once again), set to air on July 9. I expect “Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles”(名媛望族) to be broadcasted within this year, too (though I’m not too keen on Tavia-Damian's May-Dec romance). Of late, Tavia’s name is often intertwined with Him Law and it’s no different during this function. The emcee asked whether Tavia is going to introduce Kinohimitsu’s collagen drink to rumoured beau,( ex-life guard-cum-“incredible hulk”) Him Law. Tavia said she will introduce the drinks to all friends. Yes, I guess that includes Him, too. Tavia’s wholesome image makes her the darling for many brands. Patrons who had purchased RM150 worth of Kino’s merchandise are given the opportunity to get Tavia’s autograph on a special Tavia mouse pad.

Michael Miu OTO Meet and Greet Session ( 苗僑偉-马来西亚见面会) - 1 Utama (9 June 2012)

OTO 足感 Power Flex's new spokes person is none other than 三哥 aka Michael Miu. The ever attentive and devoted spouse, Jamie Chik tagged along, too. Ah Miu was sheer epitome of coolness - donning fiery red Ferrari cardigan and in light tone shades ! This uncle is oozing with "chok-ness." Apparently, this also happens to be his image from the recently wrapped-up TVB drama - "雷霆扫毒" (Fight Crime). Michael let on that his next project would be a Mainland tv series. I wouldn't be surprised if he joins buddy, Felix Wong in CTI station. With Father's Day just around the corner, Michael tried to convince the crowd that OTO Power Flex is the perfect gift for this special occasion. He claims to be the proud owner of two units at home (one for him and another for wifey). Two father-and-off-spring team were selected to participate in an innovative game (even Miu said so) with 3 Gor. The kiddos were blind folded and had to identify their dads by touching their respective fists. The girl was spot on but the boy picked Michael instead ! Or perhaps the boy had done that deliberately ! Hee hee. Michael jokingly said that he has a new son and will bring him back to HK. The event lasted for less than half an hour. Michael was whisked off to KLIA to catch the same evening's flight. Miu is such a nice celebrity. Running on tight schedule and yet,willing to stop briefly to sign autographs before being whizzed off.
