It is ironic that the theme for TVB/Astro’s latest
collaboration, a 6-epsiode program called “Wellness On The Go” (星级健康), so befits my state of mind
then. An unexpected turn of event (no thanks to unprofessional mainland Chinese)
literally turned my whole world upside down and my mind in shambles. Fortunately,
I had “Elaine Yiu therapy” to erase my anguish and lift my spirit for the next
couple of days. Seeing Elaine again in less than 3 months was truly a bonus and
that’s not all coz Elaine will be back again (this time, she’ll be heading to Ipoh)
during end Aug/Sept period ! Woot!
Six tvb celebrities (Ruco Chan, Sharon Chan, Elaine Yiu,
Jason Chan, Nancy Wu and Oscar Leung) will be taking turns hosting this health
lifestyle programs in various locations – Perak, Penang, KL, Cameron Highlands,
Kuantan…just to name a few. This show
addresses various physical and mental issues affecting today’s society. To
launch this new show, a mass exercise session was held at Jinjang, where the
public and artistes sweat it out on a sunny Sunday morning. It was fun watching
Elaine, Ruco, Jason and Sharon mimicking the instructor’s moves. Ruco looks like an odd ball with his golf-like attire, while Elaine was breathtaking in her
striking blue NBA jersey, with matching colour hi-cut sneakers/boots. Jason, who
will be in the inaugural episode (covering psychotic disorder), is no doubt an
eye-candy but sometimes, he tries just too hard to catch everyone’s attention
and ends up rambling on and on without making much sense. A doctor was invited
on stage to give a brief talk about health concerns, followed by games with
lucky members of the crowd and lastly, stars sharing their encounters on health
issues. Elaine mentioned that she has a sweet tooth, hence need to keep an eye on
her sugar level intake. As a coffee lover, she looks forward to trying white
coffee when she goes location shooting in Ipoh. Ruco will be visiting Cameron
Highlands. I bet visiting vegetable farms and tea plantations will definitely
be in his itinerary.
