Kelly Chen 陳慧琳 at Paradigm Mall Grand Opening - May 27, 2012 (Paradigm Mall)

The grand opening of Paradigm Mall caused massive traffic congestion at Kelana Jaya but clearly, it did little to dampened Kelly's enthusiastic fans from braving the chaotic roads/tunnels to catch their idol in-the-flesh. I must add though, these fans were handsomely rewarded. Initially, I thought Kelly is going belt out two to three songs (the most) but Kelly or rather Paradigm's management, was feeling generous that day. Kelly serenaded us with five super hit songs and the final two tracks (大日子 and 花花宇宙)had everyone swaying to the beat. The atmosphere is no different from mini concert. Gosh ! I have such a strong urge to watch her concert again after this short but lively performance. Looking at her svelte figure, you would never have guessed that this mommmy of two (Chace "Ha Gao Jai" and Riley "Xiu Long Bao") had just given birth exactly 2 months and 6 days ago ! If that ain't enuf, this dynamic lady had to dance in 4 inches high stilettos! Concerts are definitely in the cards next year but first, she has to hit the recording studio to work on her new Canto album. More collaborations with HK techno guru, Mark Lui, please !! Kelly is obviously craving for laksa and aptly ended the event with "Pai Pai lah ! I'm going to go have my laksa now."

"Sandy Lam Concert MMX II- 林憶蓮演唱會 Live In Malaysia" promo event - 26 May 2012 (Pavilion).

After last month's MMXII concert gig in Singapore, Sandy is all set to rock Stadium Negara next! Deejay turned canto pop star, Sandy, is one of the few rare talent in HK who not only managed to received numerous accolades in her homeland but achieved sweeping success across Taiwan and Mainland China. Her soulful love ballads never failed to leave listeners spellbound but I'm one who was once totally blown away by her fantastic fast tempo songs. 瘋了,不不不, 灰色, 醒醒, 一分鐘都市一分鐘戀愛, 傾斜, 講多錯多...just typing the names of her songs made me wanna get down on the dance floor. The scorching heat was unbearable in recent times and it was no exception on this day either. I was perspiring like a pig and with my rosy cheeks, I could easily passed-off as lobster but I soldiered-on coz I so wanna catch a glimpse of Sandy. A little after 5 pm and after Jeff Chan (My FM dj) is all done with his crappy talk, diva Sandy appeared in a stylish white tank top! The radiant and cheerful Sandy was greeted by screaming fans, most of whom were in their late 20s to early 40s. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that those who had made a beeline were all super diehard fans. Sandy took pictures of the crowd with her Sony Nex camera. The affable star even asked whether there is any special song request (to be added to her concert repertoire). Autograph session took-off after a short banter with Jeff. Ticket holders had the opportunity to take pictures with Sandy on stage. Hats off to the accommodating organizer ! Don't forget to make a date with Sandy on 28 July !
