外景拍攝 (檳城) 马来西亚 - outdoor shooting (Penang).
Had the rare opportunity of catching TVB's crew and artistes (Ruco Chan, Aimee Chan, Tony Hung, Lin Xia Wei and Mat Yeung) on location shoot in various part of Penang. Too bad it wasn't a good timing as it was during the peak of pre-election fever, especially in Penang. Many top scenic tourist spots were marred by hideous blue flags (fellow Malaysian would surely know the party I'm referring to). TVB, please edit/blurs the damn blue color election paraphernalia ! Don't spoil Penang's beautiful sceneries ! TVB made a wise move by wrapping up the shoot by Friday (3rd May) and flew out on GE (General Election) eve. TVB had actually postponed the shooting from Feb to April, expecting GE to be held before April. In the end, they couldn't delay any more and had to start the shoot in April. TVB crew was definitely a friendly lot and many had expressed that they hope this drama will help boost tourist arrivals and exposure for Penang. Thank you, TVB, for helping to promote Malaysia. Some of the tourist spots covered were Times Square mall, Campbell road, Esplanade, Lone Pine Hotel, 23 Love Lane boutique hotel, Penang Hill, murals at Armenian Street, Penang Harbour (QE 2), Penang National Park, Chendol shop at Georgetown, Nagore Road, Chowrasta Market, Fort Cornwalis, Love Lane, Upper Penang Road, First Avenue mall, Balik Pulau's durian orchard, Penang international airport and Georgetown heritage trail. As revealed by one of TVB top guns, they will be back to Penang and KL to promote this drama in later part of 2013. This drama is produced by Fong Chun Chiu (the man behind "Missing You" and now, his second effort - "Outbound Love."). Fong joined TVB in 1990 as asst screenwriter-director and made his debut as director in "Journey to the West II." Promoted to producer last year.
