Having successfully organized "Run with Stars 2015 " (Ruco Chan, Samantha Ko and Elanne Kong) during the first quarter of this year, Jazzy group has decided to turn this into a bi-yearly event. Apart from the marathon, now a 20 km cycling challenge has been thrown-in as well. Nancy (aka crazy runner) took part in the 10 km run while Tavia ( who doesn't look much like a jogger to me...haha) participated in the 5 km marathon. I am amazed that many Malaysians are actually pretty good and able to complete the marathon in a shorter period than I had anticipated. Even more impressive is the fact that Tavia and Nancy's make-up did not melt in this hot weather after running for a few kilometres ! Ruco was originally slated to take part in this event but was replaced by Ron Ng instead. Ron looks slimmer now and was accompanied by Chan Ka Lei (ex-TVB manager who used to manage artistes like Tavia, Moses, Sharon Chan and Ron Ng). The latest update is Ron will be teaming-up with Ka Lei to open a personal studio. Rumours have also been swirling that Tavia might be leaving TVB after her contract expires next April. Tavia and Ka Lei share a very close bond. Same goes for Tavia and Ron. During the warm-up session, both were very chummy. On occasions, Tavia would lean on him or slap his shoulder. Kinohimitsu is one of the sponsors. The plus point is Tavia gets to appear more than Ron and Nancy since she has to promote Kino's products after the marathon. Nancy teased Tavia that the next run and ride should invite Him for the cycling challenge and Tavia could ride pillion. Overall, it was pretty well organized. The fee is reasonable and if I could, I would definitely join in the fun again. Keeping my fingers crossed that Jazzy Group would consider inviting the HK crazy runner gang next - Benjamin Yuen, Elaine Yiu, Paisley Wu, Nancy Wu, Selena Li, Brian Tse, Joel Chan and Jack Wu. Tavia also shared that she will be in Malaysia again next week for the TVB Malaysia Star Awards.
